Our accommodation, suitable for one family or group, is located in a heritage zone in a quiet area by the Dyje River, just a short distance from the historic center of Znojmo. The city center can be reached on foot through the streets of the Old Town in about 15 minutes. The house is situated on a slope, and the terrace offers a direct view of the Dyje River and the opposite Kraví hora hill.
The accommodation is easily accessible by car, and guests can park in a secured area directly next to the house. Bicycles can be safely stored in the cellar.
The house has been completely renovated from the ground up.
Znojmo is one of the most well-known towns in South Moravia and is exceptional not only for its cultural events. It is also a starting point for hiking trails into the Podyjí National Park.
Our house is located just a short distance from the entrance to Podyjí. Directly from the property, you can conveniently connect to hiking trails or cycle paths and enjoy both walking and cycling trips along local wine routes. On your excursions, you are not limited only to Czech cycling paths, as you can also make use of connections to neighboring Austria.
In addition to cycling and hiking, there are opportunities for water sports on the Dyje River. A short distance from the house, there is a canoeing center where you can rent boats and set out on one- or two-day canoe trips along the Dyje. In summer, you can also visit the nearby Louka swimming pool, which is less than a kilometer’s walk from the house along the river. Near the dam, there is a stop for a tourist sightseeing train, which will take you through the most interesting parts of historic Znojmo.
Wine lovers and fans of cultural events can enjoy the Znojmo Historical Wine Festival, the Burčák Days, tours of historic wine cellars and vineyards, the Jazz Festival, the Znojmo Music Festival, or the Pickle Festival. In winter, you can also visit the Christmas markets.
